GRASS VALLEY. Oliver P. Stocking, 78, of Grass Valley died Tuesday in a local hospital.
Stocking was a native of Escondido, Calif. and was retired from the Sierra Ordinance Depot at Herlong.
He was a veteran of World War I in the Navy and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Herlong.
Survivors include his widow Marjorie of Grass Valley; and a son Walter of Orange Cove, Calif.
