Hazel J. Evans, 85, of Seligman, died yesterday, September 20, at Barry County Care Center in Cassville.

Mrs. Evans was born December 5, 1941, in Mundell, Arkansas, the daughter of Jessie and Alice Morrison. She was a homemaker and an election judge for many years in Seligman. She worked at Roaring River Restaurant and attended the First Baptist Church in Seligman.
She married Clarence A. Evans on June 21, 1938, in La Rue, Arkansas, and he preceded her in death February 9, 1980.
Survivors include four sons, James Evans of Teledo, Oregon, Gary Evans of Herber Springs, Arkansas, Dennis Evans of Seligman, and Paul Evans of Washburn; 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and one grandchild.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. tomorrow, September 22, at Ruddick Cemetery in Garfield, Arkansas, with Marvin Ennis, pastor, officiating under the direction of White Funeral Home of Cassville.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, September 21, at the funeral home.
