Obituary from The Pantagraph, 7/9/1991:CLINTON - The Funeral Of Mae Powless, 91, of Clinton will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Herington-Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton.
The Rev. Billy Bell will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Clinton.
Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.
Mrs. Powless died at 7:30 p.m. Sunday (July 7, 1991) at Crestview Nursing Center, Clinton.
She was born June 27, 1900, in Johnson County, Ky. She married Charles Powless in 1918 in Johnson City. He died Feb. 22, 1944.
Survivors include two sons, Cy and Merle, both of Clinton; two daughters, . . . and Velma Rasor, . . . ; 14 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Two sons, three daughters, three brothers, three sisters and one great-grandchild preceded her in death.

Mrs. Powless attended the Church of God and Assembly of God Church, both in Clinton.
