Morrison "Mori" Gwynn, 77, of Mountainburg, AR, died Sunday, September 16, 2012 in his home.
He was born March 21, 1935 in East Bend, N.C.
He was a T.V. Transmitter Supervisor for Channel 24, served in the Marines for 12 years and the Army for 8 years.
He is survived by his wife, Celestine Gwynn of the home; four daughters, Karen Gerber of Kensington, KS, Kathy Gwynn of Garden City, KS, Kandi Gwynn of Orlando, FL and Cheryl Gwynn of Mountainburg, AR; four sons, Robin of Dallas, PA, David of Cousel Bluff, IA, Ernie of Dodge City, KS and Jarrod of Orlando, FL; three sisters, Dorothy Hardy of East Bend, N.C., Margaret Ridgeway of East Bend, N.C. and Bessie Downs of TX; 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 12:30 P.M. Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel in Van Buren, AR with burial at National Cemetery in Fort Smith, AR under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren, AR.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren, AR.
