Others have claimed she was Lydia Ann Hammer - records all simply state Ann or Annie. Except for the 1880 Census when John W. P. Jester and his wife DORCAS A., are living with his mother Rebecca Jester in Washington, Hamilton Co, IN. Also in the household was a boarder - Lydia Hammer, age 15. Lydia, did not have the middle name "Ann" and was married to someone very, very different. The wife of John W P Jester was NOT Lydia.
