Samuel Frye Jr.

Served as a Private in the PA Militia during the War of 1812, Capt Henry Neiligh's Co, 132nd Regt, doing duty at Erie - guarding vessels in the harbor and military stores.
Samuel and Elizabeth are buried Samuel Frye Family Cemetery, near his parents, now on the West Penn Power Sub-station property on Fifth St Extension, Followfield Township. A daughter, Christen who died 24 Jun 1818 at age 5, is probably also buried there in an unmarked grave.
