Essex - Beulah Tumbleson, 91, died May 11, 2004, at the Miner Nursing Center. Born Feb. 23, 1913, in Hagarville, Ark., daughter of the late Elihu and Bethany McAlister Jones Sr., she lived in Essex since 1967 where she was a member of the Taylor General Baptist Church. On Jan. 16, 1931, in Hagarville, she married Victor Tumbleson who preceded her in death on April 24, 1992. Survivors include: two sons, Wayne Tumbleson of Sikeston and Howard Ray Tumbleson of Albuquerque, N.M.; one daughter, Sharon Null of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Ira Jones and Elihu Jones Jr. of Clarksville, Ark.; three sisters, Eula Owens of Lamar, Ark., Iva Rushing of Clarksville and Earlene Davis of Russellville, Ark.; and 16 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Burl A. Tumbleson and Bill Tumbleson; and four brothers and three sisters. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter. Services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Mountain Home Baptist Church near Lamar, Ark. Burial will follow in the Minnow Creek Cemetery near Lamar.
