WINKLER, Donald E. Age 83, of Hamilton, died Wednesday, August 1, 2007 at 6:43 a.m. in Hospice of Hamilton at Sunrise. He was born in Hamilton July 22, 1924 the son of Clarence and Pearl (Ballard) Winkler. He was a 1942 graduate of Hanover High School and a veteran of the U. S. Navy. On June 28, 1946 he married Eileen Mae Baker, who preceded him in death after 40 years of marriage. He married Beverly Wolf on April 27, 2000 in Hamilton. He had been employed, from age 16 until his retirement in 1994, at Petricoffs. He was an active member of Ross Avenue Church of God and in later years, Grace United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Beverly; a daughter, Claudia Farmer and husband, Jack of Hamilton; three brothers, Vories Winkler and wife, Margie of Georgia, Glenn Winkler and wife, Norma of Hamilton and William Winkler and wife, Joyce of Wilmington, Ohio; four sisters, Maxine Kimble and husband Dan, Geraldine Muenchenbach and husband, Dick, Carolyn Shiplet and husband Lee, all of Hamilton and Lorraine Thomas of Oxford; three stepsons, Gary, Steve and Tim Wolf; a sister-in-law, Lois Baker and husband, Floyd of Hamilton; a brother-in-law, Robert Bethge and wife Linda, of Columbus, Ohio; three grandchildren, Holli Morrish and husband Dennis, Carrie Farmer and fiancée Aaron and Adam Farmer; five step granddaughters, Mollie, Julianne, Sarah, Emily and Lauren Wolf; and three great grandchildren, Luke, Sam and Emma Morrish. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 4, 2007 at 10 a.m. at Grace United Methodist Church, 1200 Main Street with Dr. Robert Ingram officiating. Burial will be in Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening, August 3, 2007 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home, 980 N. W. Washington Blvd. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Hamilton at Sunrise, 896 N. W.
