Funeral services for Joanne Casey Friend, 64, of Sallisaw will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 24, 2014, at the Agent & Mallory-Martin Chapel in Sallisaw with Jeffery Brown officiating.
Burial will be at Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Sallisaw.
Mrs. Friend was born on Feb. 8, 1950, in Lyons Switch to Noble A. Casey and Dora Pauline (Asbill) Casey. She died on Tuesday, April 22, 2014, in Sallisaw.
She was a homemaker.
She married Charles Friend on May 18, 1995. He preceded her in death on Nov. 12, 2012.
Survivors include two daughters, Bobbie Jo McDonald of Houston, Texas and Terry Jo Johnson of Washington; two sisters, Louise Sumpter of Sallisaw and Beverly Hester of Henryetta; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several other family members and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Pauline Casey Eaton and Lorene Brackett.
