Survived by his wife, Ola; 2 daughters, Ruth Wallace & Neva Ashworth; 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild....

Daughter Idella had a son who died in Okinawa during World War II.

Trained at Fort F. E. Warren, Wyoming, Camp Shelby, MS, Camp Adair, Oregon and Camp Interprise, Ala. Awarded the Purple Heart and others but all his belongings lost in the battle in the Philippines and never replaced.
