Frank K. Doles Dies at Son's Home in Bonita
Funeral Services for Beloved Bonita Man Held Tuesday
Frank Doles, age 83, prominent Bonita citizen died Monday night at the home of his son, Ellis Doles, in Bonita. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the residence, with Rev. George Fox, pastor of the First Methodist Church of Bonita officiating. Interment followed in Ward's cemetery near Bastrop.
Mr. Doles had led an active life up to about two weeks ago when he became ill and since then his condition had become steadily worse. He came to Bonita to make his home with his son several years ago and was well known and well like in Bonita and throughout this section.
He is survived by six children, two sons, Ellis Doles of Bonita and Will Doles of Soper, Okla.; four daughters, Mrs. E. M. Harris of Bonia, Myrtle Doles of Boswell, Okla., Mrs. Mamie Butler of Durango, Colo., and Mrs. Annie Breathwrite of Hugo, Okla. Walter Doles, police juror from Ward Ten of Morehouse Parish, is a nephew.
