Laurel, 84, of East Lansing, left us Monday to join the other angel relative of our family. She was our beloved Matriarch.
Laurel was a strong, spirited and very beloved center of the circle of our family who will be greatly missed. It is because of her that all of the Wildner family continue to cherish each other and pass on her family devotion to all who remain and those yet to become.
She was a devoted wife and partner to her husband of 64 years, Joseph Wildner. Laurel was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Sylvia Grimm; a son, Scott A. Wildner; and son-in-law, John P. Coffey II.
Her survivors include 5 children and their respective spouses, Linda and James Larson of Cheyenne, WY, Nancy and Thomas Davis of East Lansing, Marcia and Ron Savage of Pahrump, NV, David and Kim Wildner of Fond du Lac, WI, and Michael and Jennie Wildner of Traverse City; also, her cherished grandchildren, Rachael and Jessica Russell, Joshua and Maggie Russell, Kori and John P. Coffey, Chelsea Wildner, Annie and Carol Haas, and Michael J. Wildner, II; and great-grandchildren, Anthony and Joseph Littlebird, Kenneth Potter, Nekoda Johnson, Madelyn Marie Russell, and twins, Ella and Lily Coffey
There was no funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Tri-County Office on Aging Meals on Wheels, Carlotte, MI.
