Peter Burger married (1) Catherine Hines on 22 Apr 1824 in Pulaski Co KY. She was the dau of William Hines & Barbara Baugh, born about 1808 in Virginia and died about 1840. Peter was said to have married the widow Mary Ann (Harris) VanHook on 3 Sep 1841. Catherine would have been the mother of Henry.
Other children of Peter & Catherine Burger are said to be:
Jackson Burger, b. 1827 and married Mary Ann Compton in 1850 in Pulaski Co KY [They are also in the 1850 census in Pulaski Co KY, his name spelled Burger]
Harrison Burger, b. 1829 and died 1898 in Wapella, Dewitt Co, Illinois. He has 4 marriages and some 22 children; not all are known by name.
Harriette Burger, b. 1835 and married Thomas Baugh 1859 in Pulaski Co KY - I can't explain why Hariette was not with her father in 1850 since she was only 15 and not yet married.

Henry served in the Civil War - Company H, 1st Arkansas Cavalry, Union Army
Filed for his invalid pension, 24 Mar 1869.
Dorothy A. Burger file as his widow, 24 May 1901, from Missouri
From Wikipedia:
The First Arkansas Union Cavalry played a unique role in Civil War history. The troops, especially the enlisted men, were not Yankees but Southern Unionists. They were primarily from Northwest Arkansas, and were assigned to occupy their home town and county for two and a half years. It was a very bitter war among neighbors fighting each other as Confederate guerrillas and as Union cavalrymen. After the war the First Arkansas commander, Colonel Marcus LaRue Harrison, stayed on in Fayetteville and became its post-war mayor for a time.[
