Elsie Harner was born December 6, 1923 to Charles and Ola Varner in Ohio (Charles McClellan Varner and Ola Octavia Roberts, this from her brother Ivan's entry). God's gentle hand led her away from Alzheimer's and into His loving arms on July 4, 2012.
Elsie's life was devoted to God, her family and helping others. Her passion was giving, sharing and being a champion for those who needed one. She lived her faith. Elsie was a member of Holy Covenant United Methodist Church.
Celebrating Elsie's life are her children, Dawn (David) Brast of Katy, TX, Ross (Patsy) Harner of Katy, TX, Faye (Darrell) Taylor of Willis, TX, and Vita (John) Stephens of Richmond, TX.
