Pauline Rector, 80, died Sunday in Parkview Nursing Center after a long illness.
Mrs. Rector was born in Delaware County near Gaston. She attended Harrison Township schools and spent her entire life in this area. She was employed for more than 30 years by Sears, Roebuck & Co.
Survivors include a son, Billy R. Rector (wife: Marilyn), Muncie; four grandchildren, Cathy Heuchan (husband: Mike), Garth Rector (wife: Angie), Marty Rector (husband: Marc Fullbright) and Angie Mock (husband: Jeff); four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Her husband Ira R. Rector, died in 1991. Her parents, Wilbert and Clara Parker Applegate and two brothers, George and Charles Applegate, are also deceased...
