LITTLETON, Colo. Fleta Hays Cocke, a former Pauma Valley resident, died April 9 at an Englwood, Colo. hospital. She was 81.
She was born Mar 2, 1908 in Stephensville, Texas.
When her husband, the late Emmett O. Cocke, retired as a senior vice president of Trans World Airlines in New York in the late 1960's, they moved to Pauma Valley. They bought a ranch in Fallbrook, where they grew avocado and citrus.
She was a charter member of the Pauma Valley County Club.
She is survived by her daughter, Fleta Johnson of Littleton, sister, Connie Welborn of Oklahoma City, and two Granddaughters.
