Samuel married second to Mary Smith, widow of Elias, at Smithfield, on 25 Jul 1761.
His will, dated 14 Dec 1764, proved 8 Feb 1765, named his 2nd wife Mary who was to receive all the estate she had when they married. Sons: Jonathan, Eleazer, Samuel, David, Aaron, & Moses - the last three were underage. Daughters: Patience Sayles, Susannah Arnold, Jemima Ballou. Grandchildren: Stephen & Phebe Whipple, Mary Lapham.
