A note on FindAGrave suggests he was Solomon Samuel Bass, b. 12 Jan 1830 in Indiana, died 23 Dec 1878, Oak Ridge, Barry Co, MO and is likely buried in the Ennis Cemetery in Barry County. He was first married, 13 Oct 1854 to Sarah Blancet (1837-1873)
