"Item, I give (sums) to my sister Whitbread, to my nephew Will'm her sonne out of the debt he oweth and to his brother Henry out of the debt he oweth mee and to his brother John out of the debt he oweth mee. Item, I give to my neece Spencer, (sum) and all those iimplem's of household which I boubht of her and to her sonne Garrett and to her daughter, and to my neece Poulter and to my godson Will'm Whitbread."
Thomas Hill is buried in the Flitton Church, Bedfordshire. "Here lyeth Interred the body of Thomas Hill gent. Receiver general to three worthy Earles of Kent, viz. Reginald, Henry & Charles: he departed this life April ye second 1628, being aged a hundred and one year. Aske how he lived, and you shall know his ende: He dyde a saint to God, to poor a friend. These lines men know doe truly of him story, Whome God hath cal'd and seated now in glory."
