ONALASKA, Wis. -- Raymond R. McCracken, 80, of 204 12th Ave. S., Onalaska, and formerly of Wheat Ridge, Colo., died Thursday, April 18, 1991, in Lutheran Hospital, La Crosse. He was born Sept. 14, 1910, in Kensington, Kans., to Ralph and Minnie (Rice) McCracken. He married Doris B. Ryder April 6, 1953, in Las Vegas, Nev. For many years he had been a sales manager in industrial rubber manufacturing. Before retiring in 1974, he was a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks in Westminster, Colo., and a past member of the Denver, Colo., Masonic Lodge. Survivors are his wife; a son, the Rev. R. Edward (Juliet) McCracken of Grand Blanc, Mich.; a daughter, Nancy McCracken and her husband, Ron Anderson, of Roseville, Minn.; two grandsons; two stepgrandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Smith Mortuary, Galesville, with the Rev. R. Edward McCracken officiating. Burial will be in Trempealeau Public Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Monday from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Memorials may be directed to Medical Humanities Department, Gundersen Foundation.
