Found in 1850 Census still in Logan Co KY with Mary E., children, and Elizabeth R. Slaughter, age 49, no doubt his mother-in-law.
"Annals of the Whitsitts" states that he passed away in Missouri, just prior to the writing of the Annals in 1904.

History of Western Maryland, p.1258, states that he moved to Arrow Rock MO [which is in Saline Co] and was living at the time of the writing of the book in 1882.

His daughter, Carrie, appears to probably be the Caroline Breathitt that married John Breathed from Maryland.
