Surviving are his wife, Vera, a daughter, Nora Bokan of Lafayette; a son, Goerge Bongers of Glendale, California, and four grandchildren. Other survivors include two brothers, William and Albert Bongers of Denver, and four sisters, Sophia Schultz and Clara Skov of Denver, Lena Fashing of California and Johanna Backer, Kansas City.
