TOMPKINSVILLE — Bobby R. Poindexter, 49, of Tompkinsville died Jan. 31, 2008, at Monroe County Medical Center.
The Monroe County native was born Nov. 6, 1958. He was a self-employed farmer. He was the son of the late Jeff T. Poindexter and Dessie Crabtree Poindexter.
Funeral is at 1 p.m. today at Strode Funeral Home, with burial in Monroe County Memorial Lawn. Visitation is in progress at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Tina Shirley Poindexter; a son, William Poindexter and his wife, Britta, of Tompkinsville; a sister, Bonnie Rhoton of Tompkinsville; five brothers, James Poindexter and his wife, Betty, of Gamaliel, Jessie Poindexter and his wife, Donnie, Dale Poindexter and his wife, Donna, Lester Poindexter and his wife, Rita, and Bill Poindexter and his wife, Robin, all of Indiana.
