Married his wife Mary in Hunterdon County, NY. Later removed to Wrightstown, Bucks County PA. They were Quakers. Purchased 307 acres of land in 1713. In 1728 returned to Providence to aid in settling his father's estate. Jul 3 1728 he signed a power of attorney for his brothers and brothers-in-law to seel his father's land. The deed is dated Jul 6 1728 and is signed by: Josiah Wilkinson of Providence (uncle or nephew, son of Samuel), John Wilkinson of Wrightstown, Bucks County Pa (himself), William Hopkins and Ruth, his wife (sister & brother-in-law), James Angell and Susannah his wife (sister & brother-in-law), David Wilkinson (?), Samuel and Hulda Wilkinson (oldest brother & wife), Ichabod Comstock & Zibiah his wife (niece, dau of Samuel)), Joseph Arnold & Patience his wife (niece, dau of Samuel).
