Esek married Mercy Carr, 29 Nov 1705 at Jamestown, RI. She was born 7 Oct 1683 and died Dec 1776, the daughter of Caleb Carr and Deborah Sayles of Newport [Deborah was a descendant of Roger Williams]. Esek and Mercy were 2nd cousins through the Carrs.
Esek's obituary states he was survived by 11 children, 112 grandchildren, and 129 great-grandchildren.
