Delmar Ray Asbill, 68, of Tahlequah, passed away on Sept. 2, 2013, in Muskogee. Delmar was born on Aug. 29, 1945, in Abilene, Texas, son of Delmar Ruford Asbill and Sybil Louise (Crow) Asbill. Delmar retired from Northeastern State University as assistant housing director and Spanish iInstructor. Delmar is preceded in death by his mother, Sybil Louise (Crow) Asbill; father, Delmar Ruford Asbill; and sister, Bonnie Hathcoat.

Delmar published The Asbill Family Newsletter for a number of years. We were 5th cousins through Thomas Wood and Agnes Kincaid.

He is buried Ft Gibson National Cemetery, Muskogee Co, OK. His grave marker indicates he served in the U.S. Navy in the Vietnam War.
