Cooper - Mrs. Essie Champion, 81, of 303 W. Main, died at 10 am Thursday in a Greenville hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Saturday in Delta Funeral Home.
She was born Oct 8, 1893 in Fannin County, daughter of James A. and Mary Alice Robertson Land. She lived in the Ladonia area all of her life.
Survivors include one son, Raymond Hulsey of Springdale, Ark.; two daughters, Mrs. Robert Prichett of Garland and Mrs. Ora Fields of Fort Worth; one brother, Cecil Land of Ladonia; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
