Elizabeth Mary Hennessee
(1832 - 12 Feb 1907)
Unidentified newspaper clipping:
Mrs. E. M. King died at her home near Allen's Point, Tuesday night. This good woman was one of the early settlers and oldest citizens of Fannin county. She moved to Texas in 1855 and for more than half a century had lived within a few miles of Honey Grove. At the time of her death she was 77 years old. She leaves six children, all of whom attended the funeral, this being their first meeting for many years. Mrs. King had long been a member of the Baptist church and hers was a consistent Christian life. A good woman, weary of life's long march, has been called to her reward and is at rest with her God. The funeral was conducted by Rev. J. E. McClurkin Tuesday afternoon and was attended by many relatives and friends.
