An autosomal match to this person on Ancestry has conflicting data regarding John. Added is a World War I draft registration from Lawrence, TN, for a John Henderson Smith, born 28 Nov 1892 in Loretta, TN - which is Lawrence Co, not Johnson Co. I believe this is a very different John. However, FamilySearch and census data suggests that only this record is wrong - not the lineage.
