RITCHER, Battle Hunt, 91, of Chesterfield, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday June 21, 2011. He is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Gertrude C. Critcher; daughter, Paige E. Critcher; son, John D. Critcher. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Lucy Critcher; a sister, Lois C. Burnette; brothers, Wyatt, Leland, Doyle, Harry, and Carlton Critcher. Battle served his country in the US Army during WWII. He retired from Dupont after 45 years of service. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 pm Thursday (today) at Morrissett Funeral Home, 6500 Iron Bridge Road. His funeral service will be 11 am Friday at Chester Baptist Church, 4317 School Street, Chester. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park
