E. McClelland of Brown Dies, Funeral Today.
MT. STERLING - Edgar D. McClelland, 71 year-old retired Brown county farmer, died Friday at McDonough County hospital in Macomb.
He was born in Brown county Oct 27, 1897, son of William & Margaret Armstrong McClelland. Twice married, his first wife was Ethel Agans whom he married in 1917. She died in 1927. He later married Ara Avery and she survives. There is one son, Melvin E. of Mt. Sterling, and a daughter Mrs. Verna Allsup, Rushville. There are five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

The deceased was a member of the Methodist church here and the Modern Woodmen of America.

Funeral Services will be at 3 pm today at the Mt. Sterling Methodist Church with Rev. Wayne Bonser officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Sterling City Cemetery.
