Our beloved father, brother, and friend passed away January 20, 2001 in Murray, Utah.
He was born April 18, 1912 to William Patrick Sweeney and Agnus Bowman. He was married to Marion Palmer, Ruth Winder, and Leila Goodyear, all deceased.
He served in World War II as 1st Lieutenant in Signal Corp and received three bronze stars.
He worked for AT&T for 36 years.
Ty is survived by sisters, Margaret Bernstrom, Ann Reynolds; brother, Richard S. Sweeney; children, Michael Sweeney, Ferndale, CA, Gail Sweeney, Salt Lake City, UT; and grandchildren, Ryan and Jeanette Brunisholz, Evan Sweeney. He was preceded in death by brother, Paul W. Sweeney; and sister, Janet Demman.
Services will be Tues. Jan 23, 2001, 1 p.m. at the Cottonwood LDS 10th Ward chapel, 4930 S. Westmoor Rd (1665 E). Friends may call one hour prior to services at the church. Interment, Holladay Memorial Park. Funeral directors, Cottonwood Memorial Mortuary.
