Services for Tom D. Boydston Jr., 58, of 3107 E. Seminole St, office manager of the Checker Cab Co will be held at 3:30 pm Monday in Moore's Memory Chapel. He died Friday in a Tulsa hospital after suffering a heart attack at his home, Aug 8.
A Tulsan more than 30 years, Boydston joined the Checker firm more than 20 years ago and worked first as an owner-driver superintendent and for 14 years as office manager.
A native of Oklahoma City, he was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Carson-Wilson American Legion Post, Tulsa. He attended the Methodist Church.
Surviving are the widow, Barbara Jean; two sons, Robert and Tom Boydston 3rd, both of the home; a brother and two sisters, including Mrs. R. J. Bromley, 509 W. 9th St.
Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
