29 Jul 1886. Petition to the Probate Court. Rosa F. Critcher and Joseph J. D. Critcher are minor orphans without guardian. Mrs. Eliza Critcher has applied for guardianship.
29 Jul 1886. J. T. C. Norwood stated he was acquainted with the estate belonging to the chidlren of Wm. H. Critcher, dec'd. Exclusive of the land, he believed the estate to be worth about $150 each; the value of rents & profits of the land about $50.
29 Jul 1886. Mrs. Eliza Critcher named guardian of Rosa and Joseph I. D. Critcher - their estate worth about $300.

John T. C. Norwood received administration of the estate of Mrs. Eliza Critcher who had died without a will, dated 27 Oct 1888. He stated there was about $400 worth of real property, $500 worth of personal property. The heirs were: Sol Critcher. Elizabeth Eakes, wife of Roger Eakes, Rosa Critcher and Joseph Critcher.
27 Oct 1888. To the Superior Court. Solomon Critcher, son of Mrs. Eliza Critcher, dec'd and Roger Eakes, her son-in-law request letters of administration be given her brother J. T. C. Norward. Signed: Sol F. (X) Critcher. R. G. (X) Eakes.
13 Dec 1888 Account of sale of estate of Mrs. Eliza Critcher. Purchasers included Sol. F. Critcher (bought the plow, the wagon, hogs, a black mule, the geese, a cow, a watch, many small items). A. J. Critcher (plow points, a dinner bell, buggy & harness), Rog. G. Eakes (bought pigs, a feather bed & mattress, a saddle & bridle) Rosa F. Critcher (among her purchases were the Bible, the sewing machine, the mirror, many small items), Robt. G. Norwood bought a book. Mrs. Elizabeth Eakes was previously given a bed worth $25 so a bed was given to each of the other children - Solomon F., Rosa F., and Joseph Critcher. Filed 19 Sep 1889.
26 Aug 1889 Subpoena to J. T. C. Norwood, Administrator to estate of Eliza Critcher, Decd. He has failed to exhibit his inventory as require by law. Served 18 Sep 1889 by leaving copy with his family. Note: he filed the next day.
An account, undated except by the year 1888, was presented.
22 Jan 1891. The accounting for each heir. Filed 22 Jan 1892.
