Missouri Republican, St. Louis, Mo. 7-7-1869: From Macon, Mo. July 5, 1869. KILLED. The wife of Royal McKenzie, living near Bloomington, in this county, was killed about noon to-day, half a mile west of Macon. She, in company with her son, was coming to Macon, and when at the point above named, the horses took fright, and ran for some distance, upsetting the wagon, throwing Mrs. McKenzie out, with the wagon body on top of her, killing her almost instantly. She was about 40 years of age.
