Services for Mr. John Riley Malone, Sr., 60, of Homer, will be held at 10 am Thursday, March 1 at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Homer. Don Tate, pastor of Homer Church of Christ, will officate. Burial will be at Arlington Cemetery.
Mr. Malone, a retired motel-restaurant proprietor, died Monday, Feb. 27, 1984, in Shreveport after a short illness.
He is survived by two sons, Max Tatum Malone, and John Riley Malone Jr. of Shreveport; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Malone Butler of Texarkana, AR; a brother, Ralph J. Malone of Waldorf, MD; two grandchildren, Matthew William Malone and Megan Rae Malone of Shreveport; and numerous nieces and nephews.
