Daughter of Thomas Asbury and Ann (Walker) Wright who was the widow of John Wright and daughter of Thomas and Mary (Jeffries) Walker. Thomas Asbury died about 1755 in Westmoreland Co, VA.

The Rochester book by Nathaniel Rochester states that Mary died in 1757, leaving no children. Her mother's will, 1755, appears to indicate there could have been sons Nicholas & William, but no actual relationship is stated,

A deed with this date provides evidence that Mary Asbury Rochester was living 29 Aug 1757 and that she is the daughter of Thomas Asbury.
