Nicholas Rochester

First record in Virginia: 26 Dec 1689, Nicholas Rochester purchased from John Jenkins, planter, 100 acres of the 1000 acres Jenkins had received by patent in 1653 for the import of 20 persons. The property was in Nominy Forest, southeast part of Westmoreland, close to the Richmond County line.
26 May 1719, Nicholas made a deed of gift of his property to his son William, to descend to his eldest son, but his eldest die, to the younger son and his issue.
27 May 1719, Nicholas Rochester, an ancient person, was acquitted from any future tax liens.
