Susanna is said to have married William Barecroft after the death of John Critcher and had a daughter by Barecroft, Elizabeth, born about 1775.

Barecroft, William (d. 1784) m. 1st, dau of Joseph Garner and m. 2nd Mary. [or the other way around?] Children: Winifred and Elizabeth.

Family stories submitted to FamilySearch suggest only Elizabeth was a child of Susanna - or possibly Winifred did not survive as she is not mentioned. This is reinforced by the will of Joseph Garner

Susanna is said to have been a child of Joseph Garner. The will creates a problem in that no daughter Susanna, alive or deceased, is mentioned and it recognizes only Elizabeth Barecroft - there is no Winifred, but she might have Barecroft's child by his wife Mary and therefore not a grandchild of Joseph Garner. BUT there is also no mention of the Critcher children of Susanna and they would have been his grandchildren.
