Obituary:
Hade Steeley, 93, Everton, died at 2;15 p.m. Tuesday in the Dade County Nursing Home, Greenfield, where he had been a patient for the past three years.
He was a retired farmer and an Elder in the Antioch Christian Church, where he had been a member for over 70 years.
Survivors include a son, Howard, Greenfield; seven grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Services were at 10 a.m. Friday in the Birch Chapel, Everton, with Rev. Faust Matthews officiating. Burial was in Antioch Cemetery.

Mrs.Hade Steeley
Mrs. Clara Steeley, a longtime resident of Everton and Dade County, died at 1:55 a.m., Friday, in the Dade County Nursing Home in Greenfield after a long illness.
She was a member of the Antioch Christian Church and Antioch news Correspondent for the Vedette for many years.
Surviving are her husband, Hade, of the nursing home; a son Howard, Greenfield; four sisters, Mrs. Cloy Prater, Independence, Mrs. Chloe Ethel Poindexter, Everton, Mrs. Gertrude Miexsell, Carmichael, Calif., and Mrs. Letha Kirbey, Ash Grove; seven grandchildren; 26 great- grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
