Nathan Hunt has died intestate having property in this state. Caswell Wisdon, appointed Administrator of all goods & chattels, rights, credits, moneys & effects. 31 Mar 1847. Signed by Reub. Samuel, Clerk.
Caswell Wisdom posted bond with Joseph M. Hamett, Wm B. Watts & B. N. Tracy his securities, for the bond of $10,000.00. 31 Mar 1847.

First annual settlement of C. Wisdom, admr of the estate of Nathan Hunt, deceased. He had collected several notes owed; Sale in April brought $699.58. At appraisement the widow took goods valued at $196.55. Negro man Gilbert was sold for $525. Bills had been paid - Isabel Hunt had received $10. Total in estate was $1331.82.

Settlement of estate of Nathan Hunt. Many items were repeated from the first report. Expenses of note included $25 for the coffin and $18.17 to Campbell & Coats for shroud. There were several payments for hauling tobacco.
Final settlement of C. Wisdom, administrator of estate of Nathan Hunt deceased. Bills paid included $111.92 and $70.26 to the Hunt widow. There were expenses of a slave while he was in jail. Balance of estate: $2695.48. Ordered recorded. There was no list of payments to heirs.
