3 Jul 1848 There are eight heirs of William Cross, deceased, and reside in this state. William Morrow is administrator. Final settlement shows a balance of $299.34 to be divided. It is ordered that Morrow immediately pay over to the heirs as named (they weren't in this document) immediately. Wm. J. Morrow is to surrender his letters of administration to this Court.

4 Jul 1848. Jefferson Morrow (is he the same as Wm J?) is appointed guardian of Rachel Cross and Wright Cross, minor heirs of "James" Cross deceased. Note: other evidence points to the fact that Rachel and Wright were children of William Cross. I believe this is an error in court entry.

On the same day John Dunivant was appointed Guardian of Wm. T. Dunivant - I believe young William was the son of his deceased sister-in-law, Rhoda Cross Dunivant.
