HEAVENER — Wanda Lucille Sommer, 85, of Heavener died Saturday, July 11, 2009, in Poteau. She was born Sept. 20, 1923, in Heavener. She was a member of Perry Chapel Baptist Church in Conser, Okla., where she served as church secretary, and the widow of Carmon Sommer.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Dowden Funeral Home Chapel in Heavener with burial at Memorial Park Cemetery in Heavener.
She is survived by a son, John Sommer of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Helen Caughern of Hodgen and Johnnie Williams of El Reno, Okla.; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
