Linus Robinson Graves

Linus R. Graves, brother of Arthur J. Graves of Bloomington, and formerly a business man here died at his home in Los Angeles, California on May 19, 1933. He was a contractor wih his brother, Walter Graves of Bloomington.
Mr. Graves was born in Bloomington, Illinois in 1859 the son of Linus Graves who came to Bloomington in 1840, and Virginia F. Haden who came to Bloomington in 1836.
He was married to Miss Bird Eager in about 1885 and remain in Bloomington until 1886 as a propietor of a store on Front Street. Going first to Denver, Coloradao he was associated with Walter in irrigation projects in southern Colorado. In California he became associated with a brother in law handling contracts for building harbors. For a time he lived in San Pedro.
Besides his brother here in Bloomington, Illinois, he was survived by his widow; and one son Charles Arthur Graves.
