Tempie was the d/o James Wilborn Williams and Mariah M. Helton. She was born in Montgomery Township of Owen County, Indiana in March of 1846. By 1860 her family had moved to Gainsville, Cooke Co., Texas. In 1870 She was in Van Buren, Crawford Co., Ark. She married William Green Asbill about 1872 or 1873 and they resided in Crawford Co., Ark. I have 2 daughters that lived Annie Asbill Boyd b. 3 Feb 1874, and Nancy Jane (Aunt Cub) Asbill Spangler b. 15 Nov 1876, 2 sons Will Lee b. 1876, d. 1876 Ark, and Thomas Jefferson Asbill b. 16 Dec 1881.
