Caroline later married Presley Bowman, b. 2 Aug 1862, d. 30 Jan 1942. They have a joint marker, Fort Douglas Cemetery, Johnson, AR - their first child born in 1882. I believe that the marriage date of 16 Aug 1881 is for this marriage to Presley Bowman.
