Walta Fry was the daughter of Nannie Irene Byrum and George Walter Fry. Her father died when she was very young, and her mother married second William Burder Haile who had six young children.
Walta married Paul Russ on August 12, 1925. They eventually settled in Amarillo, Potter Co, TX.
