Died, 1865. During the settlement in 1876, there was stated "Martha J. Miller is a lunatic confined to the asylum at Tuscaloosa, William A. Miller being guardian ad litem." This is granddaughter Martha Jane Haden who married Alexander Miller. It is noted that granddaughter Elizabeth Haden Pickens had died and had left three children, Joseph, James and Waneta Pickens, residing with their father Joseph W. Pickens in Madison Co, AL.
