Illinois Deaths:
Dawson Raymond Comstock, born 26 Nov 1892, Sixton (Sikeston), MO, died 3 Nov 1941, East St Louis, St Clair Co, IL, age 48. Buried 6 Nov 1941 at Morley, Scott Co, MO. He was a Special Watchman. Father, Morgan Comstock, mother Ada Dames - both born in Tennessee. Spouse was Deran Comstock.

Ray was apparently buried in the Old Morley Cemetery, Morley, Scott Co, MO, near his parents. His tombstone gives his date of death as 17 Nov 1940, rather than the 5 Nov 1942 date listed in the Comstock book.
The newspaper gives still another date - this one would place his funeral as 6 Nov, 1941.
