Dora Jane McClure died 4 Nov 1949, at her home in Rocky Comfort, Richwood Twp, McDonald Co of angine pectoris and infecte gallbladder, ulderated colon. She was married. Born 5 Nov 1882. Parents: Thomas Dickens and Martha East. Sam McLure, husband, was the informant. Buried Rocky Comfort Cemetery on Nov 8th.

OBITUARY
Dora Jane Dickens, daughter of Thomas and Martha Dickens was born Nov. 5, 1882, near springfield, MO, and departed this life at her home, Nov. 4, 1949. God called her to her Heavenly home one day before she reached her 67th birthday.
She was converted at an early age and united with the Prosperity Baptist Church at Rocky Comfort. Later her membership was transferred to Ridgley, where she was a true and faithful member until her death.
She was united in marriage to Sam McClure June 3, 1900. To this one daughter was born, Mrs. Lois Long of Rocky Comfort.
.... Besides her companion and daughter, she is survived by a son-in-law, Arvel Long, three brothers - Charley Dickens of Simcoe, Oscar Dickens of Oakdale, CA, Joe Dickens of Modesto, CA, one grandson, Marcell Long, two great granddaughters and a host of other relatives and friends.
... Funeral services were held at the Ridgley Baptist Church by Rev. C. F. Siler.... burial was made in the Rocky Comfort Cemetery.
